Aromatherapy Oil – The Essence of Mother Nature

There are so many ways to use aromatherapy oil that no matter where you are these oils can be used anytime and anywhere. One of the most effective ways for instant relief is to simply remove the cap off the bottle of your chosen aromatherapy oil and inhale deeply.

Or you can use a diffuser which consists of a small container that is filled with water and heated by a candle. By adding 6-10 drops of an aromatherapy oil to the water in the bowl of an aroma diffuser, the vapors are diffused as the water is heated. You could also create an air freshener to enhance moods or freshen the air of your home, workplace, or car by adding 50-75 drops of an essential oil to 2 ounces of pure water in a mist spray bottle. Another effective way to freshen the air within the home or office is to add 25 drops to potpourri.

Baths are a very effective way to soothe the soul and replenish the spirit and body. Only 8-15 drops of an aromatherapy oil or oils to the bath water after the water has finished running and stir to blend. Breathing the vapors and absorption through the skin makes this method most effective is calming the mind and body.

Massage with a pure oil such as jojoba, grape seed or almond, enhanced with one or more aromatherapy oil of your choice is another wonderful way to alleviate the effects of everyday stresses and revitalize you.
